Febuary 2012 | goldRush Rally Partners with Taylor Lynn Foundation to Give Back to the Community for the second year in a row.
San Francisco, CA – Taylor Lynn Foundation has been named as the sole philanthropic sponsor of the goldRush rally for the second year in a row. As participants, we have been on every goldRush rally since the inaugural run in 2009. We are very proud to raise the stakes this year and create an opportunity to raise funds to help children in need.

GoldRush is a premiere exotic car Rally. In 2012, it is anticipated to have more than 75 cars participating in a eight day and eight night, cross country event. This year the rally will "Rise Against The Sun" as we make our way through the United States, traveling from the West to the East Coast. We depart on June 9th from Los Angeles and finish in South Beach Miami on June 16th.

This year we will be driving the official rally charity car, a McLaren MP4-12C. The car has been generously donated to Taylor Lynn Foundation for the rally this year. For goldRush Rally 2012, we are excited to incorporate our rally car to raise money for Taylor Lynn Foundation. We plan to cover the entire car with Taylor Lynn Foundation's logo gold hearts and we need your help and support to accomplish this goal. Please take a moment to support Taylor Lynn Foundation on the goldRush Rally. We encourage you to add your Heart of Gold to our McLaren by donating $100 towards a great charitable cause benefiting children. January 2012 | First Graduate Partners with Taylor Lynn Foundation.
San Francisco, CA – Taylor Lynn Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with First Graduate based in San Francisco. Taylor Lynn Foundation has made a donation in the form of microGRANTs for First Graduate to distribute. These microGRANTs, generally ranging from $100 to $500 per grant, are intended to provide children opportunities that would not otherwise be available to them. First Graduate is working with children in need and they are a perfect organization to implement our microGRANT program.

Taylor Lynn Foundation microGRANTs provide the resources to support each child's educational needs and interests. Additionally, when a child applies for a microGRANT, he or she must designate a sponsor and submit a plan to pay back the microGRANT. Taylor Lynn Foundation does not wish for the money back, rather we want the child to "Take a Moment to Give Back" to their community. This philosophy allows children to be recipients of our microGRANTs and provide an understanding of how it feels to do the same for others.

About First Graduate:
Founded in 2000, First Graduate is a college access program that helps students finish high school and become the first in their families to graduate from college. To help students realize their dreams of attaining a college degree, First Graduate utilizes a long-term program model that is unique within the field. First Graduate makes a 10-year commitment to each student, starting the summer after sixth grade and continuing through college graduation. February 2011 | Taylor Lynn Foundation delivered a microGRANT to Brad.
Brad has spent most of his life in the foster care system. He is fortunate to have a sponsor from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marin County. Taylor Lynn Foundation made available a microGRANT enabling Brad to attend a children’s cooking class at a cooking school. Brad expressed interest in learning how to cook and we were able to provide him more exposure to satisfy his interest. In return, Brad wanted to pay back the grant by helping animals. Brad plans on putting together a bake sale to raise money for the Humane Society.

December 2010 | Taylor Lynn Foundation delivered a microGRANT to Stephan.
Stephan and his family were uprooted from their home during the financial crisis. Since then Stephan, his parents and two siblings have been living out in a motel. He has very few material possessions and his family is barely able to make ends meet. The microGRANT from Taylor Lynn Foundation made it possible for Stephan to buy school supplies and a new basketball to practice his favorite sport. Stephan plans to pay the microGRANT back by volunteering at the by volunteering his time at a food kitchen his family frequents.

September 2010 | Taylor Lynn Foundation delivered a microGRANT to Vincent.
Vincent has an incredible talent and passion for art. He lives with his grandmother in a small apartment. Recently his grandfather, who is unemployed, moved out of the apartment and took with him all of their possessions to sell for money. Vincent was left with nothing. His grandfather even sold what he loved most, his art supplies. Taylor Lynn Foundation was able to make available a microGRANT for Vincent to purchase new art supplies and a new easel. We are also pleased to say that the art store was kind enough to contribute additional funds to this microGRANT so Vincent could replace more of what was taken from him. Vincent plans to pay back the microGRANT by painting a special picture and donating to a local children’s hospital. Vincent told us that he wanted to do this “so that it’s helpful to other children….when they need to visit the hospital”.
